Lalaing glass

Lalaing was originally manufactured by the Belgian glassworks Val st. Lambert, but the service was licensed by Holmegaard Glasværk for a number of years due to delivery difficulties from Belgium during the First World War.

Lalaing is heavy and delicious service characterized by high quality and fine details, e.g. the beautifully processed stem, and is considered to be a distinguished service with many types of glass and several sizes within each type. Lalaing is used by the state for representative purposes, among other things at festivities at Christiansborg.
