with the royal mark 1870 - 1940 designed by Arno Malinovski for Georg Jensen on the occasion of Christian the 10th's 70th birthday in September 1940. Later mounted on a pin.

The royal seal was a great success and was used during the occupation as a tacit resistance to the German occupation.
In 1945, a new royal seal was issued to celebrate Christian the 10th's 75th birthday in September 1945. A total of 1,178,534 copies of the royal seal were sold, bringing in 1.5 million kroner to the Christian the 10th Foundation. Sales of the stamp continued until the king's death on April 20, 1947.
