Griegst gold ring

of 14 karat gold adorned with an almandine garnet with a small chip approximately center left of the image.

The ring is made by goldsmith Arje Griegst (1938 - 2016) who trained at Just Andersen and opened his own workshop in 1960.
He is known for his unconventional, adventurous jewelry and also for the Konkylie porcelain set he created for Royal Copenhagen in the 1970s and a diadem he made for Queen Margrethe in 1976.
