Christian the 8th beer glass

also known as Berlinois with grinds.

The glass service was first offered in Holmegaard's price list from 1867 and last offered in 1934.
The service was also manufactured by Fyens Glasværk, Kastrup Glasværk and Aalborg Glasværk.

The sharpened version, Christian the 8th, was mostly sold for private use while the Berlinois (without sharpening) was mostly used in restaurants and bars. The service is made in 18 different sizes.
